I understand that no runner will receive a race bib or be allowed to start without successfully completing all of the following checks:
• Medical Check (by approved race medical staff)

I confirm that I hold valid medical insurance covering treatment and emergency evacuation (air and ground) in Botswana.
I accept full financial responsibility for all medical care, evacuation, and hospitalisation costs.
I authorise race medical personnel to provide treatment or arrange evacuation as deemed necessary.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I assume all risks of participation, including those arising from negligence.
I hereby waive, release, and discharge Outdoor Adventures BW (Pty) Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, sponsors, volunteers, medical staff, and landowners
from all liability, claims, or causes of action for personal injury, disability, death, or property damage.
I further indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any third-party claims arising from my participation.

8. Event Modifications, Postponement & Force Majeure

I acknowledge that the Organiser may alter, shorten, delay, or cancel the event in the interest of safety, compliance, or environmental conditions.
In the event of cancellation due to force majeure (extreme weather, government action, pandemic, or natural disaster), refunds or credits will be issued only per the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

9. Media, Image & Data Rights

I grant the Organiser and its partners a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use my name, image, likeness, and race data for media,
promotional, or documentary purposes without further consent or compensation.
I consent to the processing and sharing of my personal and medical data for safety and event operations.

10. Legal Construction

This waiver shall be construed broadly to maximise protection for the Organiser.
If any provision is found invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.
This document forms part of the SPU Terms & Conditions and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Claims must be filed within two (2) years of the event date.
